Study Criteria
Healthy non-smoking overweight Males and Females
Age: 18-55
BMI: 27.0 to 39.9 kg/m2
Study Information
Indication: The investigational drug is being developed as a possible treatment of weight management.
Route of Administration: Subcutaneous
Washout from previous study: You may not participate in any other clinical study within 30 days before receiving study drug in this study.
Male participants should use a condom during treatment and until the end of the study.
Female participants of childbearing potential are eligible to participate if they agree to use methods of contraception consistently and correctly. Highly effective contraception should be utilized until the end of study.
Highly effective contraceptive methods allowed:
- Combined (estrogen- and progestogen-containing) hormonal contraception associated with inhibition of ovulation. Male condoms must be used in addition to hormonal contraception during the treatment period and until the end of study.
- Oral
- Intravaginal
- Transdermal
- Progestogen-only contraception associated with inhibition of ovulation
- Oral
- Injectable
- Implantable
- Intrauterine device (IUD)
- Intrauterine hormone-releasing system (IUS)
- Bilateral tubal occlusion, or bilateral tubal ligation
- Vasectomized partner
- Sexual abstinence (Preferred and usual lifestyle)
Study Reminders
- 8 hours fasting is required for lab work (only water is allowed)
- If taking medications, bring them to your screening appointment (including prescription, over the counter, herbal supplements and vitamins)
- Bring a valid, non-expired photo ID with you when you attend your screening visit. We accept a valid government issued identification card such as a driver's license, state issued ID card or passport. You will be required to show this same photo ID at all study visits
- Arrive 30 minutes before your appointment to complete paper work.
