Study Criteria

Healthy Males and Females who have been fully COVID-19 vaccinated (valid documentation required)

Age:  21-55

BMI: 19 to 35 kg/m2    Weight: between 110 and 220 pounds

Must be willing to have a Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (cMRI) - produces detailed images of the heart, which will be completed at a different facility during the screening period.


Study Information

Indication: The investigational drug is being developed as a possible treatment for autoimmune diseases.

Route of Administration: subcutaneous (under the skin) injection

Washout from previous study: Receipt of an investigational agent within 5 half-lives of the study drug.

Females who are sexually active must meet one of the following and agree to use a type of birth control and not donate eggs (ova) during the study and for 45 days after receiving study drug:

  • Postmenopausal 1 year with lab confirmation
  • Hysterectomy (removal of uterus) and/or bilateral oophorectomy (removal of both ovaries)
  • Bilateral tubal ligation (tubes tied)
  • Combined hormonal birth control (oral, intravaginal or transdermal)
  • Progesterone – only hormonal contraception (oral, injectable, or intrauterine)
  • Intrauterine devices
  • Intrauterine hormone-releasing system
  • Bilateral tubal occlusion (tubes blocked)
  • Sexual abstinence when this is in line with the preferred and usual lifestyle of the subject
  • Vasectomized partner (provide partner is the sole sexual partner with records)

Males who are sexually active and whose partners are females of childbearing potential must refrain from sperm donation and must agree to remain abstinent or must use condoms in combination double-barrier methods, such as spermicide, hormonal birth control or IUD (used by the female partner for the duration of the study and for 45 days following receipt of study drug.


Screening Study Reminders

  • 8 hours fasting is required for lab work (only water is allowed)
  • If taking medications, bring them to your screening appointment (including prescription, over the counter, herbal supplements and vitamins)
  • Bring a valid, non-expired photo ID with you when you attend your screening visit.  We accept a valid government issued identification card such as a driver's license, state issued ID card or passport.  You will be required to show this same photo ID at all study visits
  • Arrive 30 minutes before your appointment to complete paper work.
